The Devon Economic Partnership works to improve Devon's economy.
It is made up of representatives from the private sector, public sector and charities who meet regularly to identify, and address, the key priorities for Devon's economic development.
The 'Devon Economic Strategy' has been created by the partnership to provide a framework for the development of the county's economy to 2015. The 6 strategic priorities are:

Achieving sustained investment in business infrastructure and communications

Tackling worklessness and economic exclusion and disadvantage

Providing co-ordinated support to unlock the economic potential of our most disadvantaged communities

Developing and harnessing skills to achieve a competitive economy

Encouraging business start-up & growth by promoting enterprise and improving productivity through promotion of innovation and development of the knowledge economy

Developing Devon’s identity as England’s “greenest county"
This site provides a forum by which members and other interested parties can remain up-to-date on how delivery of these targets is progressing. It provides:
- Up-to-date reports on the Devon economy to aid informed decision making;
- The latest strategies designed to tackle our strategic priorities;
- And a quarterly bulletin updating our progress thus far.
The minutes of the Devon Economic Partnership's meetings can also be downloaded, and details of the work of the partnership's Operational Groups can also be found.
This website also provides sources of information which could be of use to our partners or other interested parties in the Devon economy. Currently, we provide links relating to Skills, Business Support, European Funding and other related Initiatives in the County.
